The major raw materials ​used by MIJEFA Corporation for virtually all of its manufacturing operations are all derived as primary products of agriculture. Agriculture therefore is a primary focus of MIJEFA Corporation innovations.

​MIJEFA Corporation provides innovative solutions to upgrade the standard of agricultural practices especially in developing countries such as sub Saharan Africa where the scale of production is still small scale. We set up agricultural mechanization units that will rent out major equipment such as graders for clearing, ploughing tractors, planters, harvesters, and other agricultural inputs. We also manufacture yield improvements such as bio-pesticides and inoculants for nitrogen fixation.

MIJEFA Corporation is spearheading massive investment in industrial fermentation in the sub Saharan region of Africa. Immediate focus will be on organic acids such as lactic acid & citric acid, amino acids such as lysine, methionine, & threonine, and alcohols such as ethanol, n-butanol, & acetone for both biofuel and biopharmaceutical applications.

MIJEFA Corporation is committed to the production of products for medical and pharmaceutical  application using fermentation and cell culture approaches. Products in this portfolio include pharmaceutical grade ethanol & other alcohols, antibiotics, pharmaceutical grade vitamins, and specialty drugs and chemicals.

A major part of MIJEFA Corporation business is the processing of corn, cassava, and other raw materials to produce important food ingredients such as starch, dextrose, malto-dextrins, high fructose syrups, and organic acids such as lactic and citric acid. Many of these products are used as ingredients in various food applications. Starch for instance is used as thickening agent in many food products while high fructose syrup is used as sweetening agent in various non alcoholic beverages.
