A major part of MIJEFA Corporation business is the processing of corn, cassava, and other raw materials to produce important food ingredients such as starch, dextrose, malto-dextrins, high fructose syrups, and organic acids such as lactic and citric acid. Many of these products are used as ingredients in various food applications. Starch for instance is used as thickening agent in many food products while high fructose syrup is used as sweetening agent in various non alcoholic beverages.
